Aren't you tired of the same old stainless steel watches you see over and over again in the market. However, as you skim through the pages in the catalog, you notice there's the black on black watches that catches the corner of your eye and then you noticed its the so and so divers watch with a PVD black finish.

The term PVD stands for Physical Vapor Deposition. A material selected to coat a base metal or substrate surface. That material is vaporized and then deposited on the base or substrate material, bonding molecular with the base material. PVD watch coating is very durable and attractive as a watch case and bracelet finish.

The process of PVD can be pricey and not everyone would want to spend the extra dollar for it. Some would wonder if there are other ways you can invest in to get the same results as PVD result. The answer is no, you wont get the color on to the product as well as the PVD finish, and for sure the color would not last as long on the product with a PVD finish. Because, as they always say, you get what you paid for.

PVD is a super-hard coating that is by far the most durable coating available today. Superior quality that will out last any traditional finish. PVD coating is definitely worth the money if you are want it to match your watch or just to up keep your watch/watch band to last for a long period of time.
