What Spring Bars Do

Spring bars lock into holes inside the lugs. Once seated correctly, they keep the strap or bracelet firmly attached during daily wear.

Because the ends are spring-loaded, spring bars can be compressed with a simple tool. This makes strap changes quick and reversible.

These are the most common type, used for leather straps, nylon straps, and many bracelets. They’re suitable for everyday wear when sized correctly.

Fat spring bars are thicker than standard ones. They’re often used on dive watches or heavier cases where extra strength is helpful.

These have a small built-in lever that allows strap changes without tools. They’re usually paired with leather or fabric straps.
